The insurance coverage is exclusively for theft or loss, 3101607271 - Liberty Express Corportate VC SA is not responsible for items damaged by bad packing.

The insurance payment will only apply for the declared value at the time of shipment (Packing list FOB value).

The freight value will be reimbursed only and exclusively with another parcel shipment of the same weight as the affected waybill.

The insurance coverage is valid only for shipments opened and inspected in the presence of the staff of 3101607271 - Liberty Express Corportate VC SA (the customer must inspect the package upon receipt).

Claims must be submitted with a maximum of 5 continuous days from the time of receipt of the guide (packages) by the customer (checked against date registered in the system 3101607271 - Liberty Express Corportate VC SA).

3101607271 - Liberty Express Corportate VC SA will not be liable under any circumstances to pay fines, compensation or refunds for lost packages, due to incorrect identification by the customer at the time of purchase.

  • Air or maritime accidents, such as:

  • Detention or seizure by sovereign, authorities or judicial seizure.
  • Quarantine restriction.
  • The act or omission of the shipper.
  • Strikes.
  • Riots.
  • Salvage.
  • Origin and inherent defect of the goods.
  • Insufficient or defective packing of the cargo, carried out by a person other than the carrier or any of its dependents or agents.
  • Insufficiency or imperfection of the brand.
  • Defects of the vessel, or for any other external cause.
  • Terrorism.
  • Electrical or magnetic damage.
  • Nuclear fission or fusion.
  • Ionizing radiation or radioactive contamination.
  • War, invasion, acts of foreign enemies, hostilities or warlike operations (declared or not).
  • Guerrilla war, civil war, military power or usurpation of power.
  • Martial Law or state of siege. General Strikes (legal or not).
  • Import Prohibition or Act of public authority executed during entry, exit or transit of cargo.
  • If the carriage of a shipment involves a final destination or stops in a country other than the country of departure, the Warsaw Convention may apply for the purposes of this contract, which governs that convention in most cases, additionally limiting our liability for loss or damage to the shipment.

What to do when I receive my package?

Our customers must check their package(s) inside a Liberty Express store, in front of our staff at the time of picking it up or at delivery time. The client has three months (90 days) to pick up his/her package(s), counted from the momment it is in «Available» status, if it doesn`t pick it up within that period the package is considered «Definitive Abandonment». Once the package is definitively abandoned Liberty Express will have the right to dispose of it without the client being able or having the right to claim any compensation.
