What you should know about our service

For those products that are considered fragile, we highly recommend special packaging to ensure their protection during shipment. This packaging will have an additional cost with a prior quote, and will only be done with the authorization of the client. Otherwise, if the product is damaged, Liberty Express will be released from any responsibility, and the same must be channeled with your vendor.

  • By registering as a Liberty Express user, you agree with our terms and conditions.
  • Failure to identify your packages correctly can cause delays and sometimes the loss of your merchandise.
  • For the International Shipping service, the prevailing weight and volume will be charged. However, for the Internet Shopping service, Courier Parcels will be charged only by weight. There are exceptions in products that fly as cargo or are transferred with the maritime service, for these, prior quotes must be made.
  • You must register only once to avoid troubles assigning guides to your packages.
  • We do not accept Checks.
  • Pre-alerting your purchase guarantees an efficient management and avoids your merchandise to be delayed or lost.
  • Our refunds for lost packages are 100% of the declared value of the merchandise plus the amount paid for freight.
  • We are not liable for damage to merchandise due to poor packaging from the supplier or online store.
  • We do not repack and we do not consolidate merchandise.
  • Your supplier is responsible for the packaging of the parcels.
  • Correct registration of your email is important so you can receive important information about our company and your shipments.
  • If you wish to make any changes to your delivery address, you must do so before your packages have been received in our USA Warehouses, otherwise, they will be delivered to the Registered address for the time of arrival at the warehouse and the changes will apply for future shipments.
  • The total charge for guides will be visible in your Liberty Express account once the package arrives and it is confirmed in one of our warehouses in Costa Rica.
  • You can track your packages and be informed of your guide’s status using your Liberty Express account.
  • When you receive your package, you must open it and verify that everything is OK in front of the company staff; if there is any incident, you must report it immediately.
  • We are not responsible for loss or damage of packages that were not checked at the time of delivery.
  • Liberty Express is responsible for your purchases once received in our warehouse, not before.
  • Our customers must check their package(s) inside a Liberty Express store, in front of our staff at the time of picking it up or at delivery time. The client has three months (90 days) to pick up his/her package(s), counted from the momment it is in «Available» status, if it doesn`t pick it up within that period the package is considered «Definitive Abandonment». Once the package is definitively abandoned Liberty Express will have the right to dispose of it without the client being able or having the right to claim any compensation.
How do I get a Box?

For every international shipment or online purchases, you need a Box, you must be registered in the destination country where you want to receive.

What are prohibited items?

There is a large number of items that are not allowed to be exported or imported in certain countries. These are customs restrictions of each country that require special permits to comply with the shipments.

What to do when I receive my package?

Our customers must check their package(s) inside a Liberty Express store, in front of our staff at the time of picking it up or at delivery time.
